Message
Welcome!
I am glad that you’ve stopped by to visit Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Zeta Xi Omega Chapter’s website. Zeta Xi Omega Chapter belongs to the Significant South Atlantic Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, serving Augusta, Georgia and the surrounding areas. We were chartered on March 13, 1955 by 16 brilliant, college-trained women who were READY to raise the standard for service and sisterhood.
Our chapter, of over 300 members, works tirelessly to implement our 2022 – 2026 International Program under the theme “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood”.
This includes the following initiatives:
Strengthen our Sisterhood, which is our “Foundation Initiative”, encourages us to strengthen our bonds to support our service mission.
The remaining five initiatives serve as our “Program Initiatives”, and they are:
- Empower Our Families, which encompasses the Childhood Hunger Initiative Power Pack (CHIPP) and Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) Programs,
- Build Our Economic Wealth,
- Enhance Our Environment,
- Advocate for Social Justice and
- Uplift Our Community
I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to lead such a dynamic group of women during a time when we are needed in our community now more than ever before. It is my hope that you will join us as we infiltrate our communities by providing service to all mankind. There is much to do in the CSRA, and Zeta Xi Omega stands READY to answer the call.

2022-2026 Program Initiatives
Service and sisterhood have been the cornerstone of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® since 1908. With the theme Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood, the 2022-2026 administration seeks to build upon Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s rich legacy of service by galvanizing our sisterhood of more than 120,000 active members to lead on the front lines of change, education, and advocacy.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (AKA) is an international service organization that was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. in 1908. It is the oldest Greek-lettered organization established by African-American college-educated women.
Our
Chapter
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®- Zeta Xi Omega Chapter is a local service organization that was
founded in 1955. The chapter has been providing service to all mankind throughout the CSRA for over 60
years. The local chapter is led by President Dwanette Pullings.
